Alessa Earl

Alessa Lawaii Earl passed away at 68 in Henderson Nevada on May 25, 2024, surrounded by family and love. Alessa was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 3, 1956, to the union of Eugene and Jeannie Earl. She was the second of three children and graduated from Crenshaw High School. Alessa raised her 2 children, Eugene Earl and Leila Alexander Current in the Los Angeles area.
 
Alessa’s true love and passion was music. As a young girl, she and her two sisters would sing and perform songs by the Supremes in their living room. Alessa became a professional singer and musician, performing in different venues across the country. She also worked in several other industries and retired as a Surgical Technician. 
 
Alessa loved to sing, dance and play musical instruments. She also enjoyed cooking, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and the most jolly laugh.
 
Alessa is survived by her children Eugene (Geno) Earl and Leila Alexander Current, son in law Donnie Current, sisters Alana Wilson and Aleta Taylor, two brothers in law Lathester Wilson and Charles Taylor, four grandchildren Lynn, Areana, Naia, and Kailee Current.
 
Alessa will forever be lovingly known as our hummingbird. May she rest in eternal love and peace.
