Anni (Anna) Georgine Auberson

Anni Georgine Geist Warren Auberson, born February 28 1952 to Hans and Louise Geist in Germany, returned to the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ on August 1st 2026. She was the second of 3 children. She lived in Germany until she was 27 years old.

While working in Germany, Anni met Richard Warren who was an American soldier stationed in Germany. They fell in love and married against the wishes of her family. He re-enlisted and 6 weeks later was diagnosed with AML leukemia. The army sent them to America and he died about 6 months later. He was always the love of her life.

Anni lived in Tennessee for several years and wanted to join the army, but since she wasn't yet an American citizen they only let her join the national guard. She got her citizenship and her sister disowned her. It broke her heart. She met and married Roland Auberson, and he was very abusive and injured her severely several times. He died from drinking so much. She never married again.

She moved from Tennessee to Texas for a few months then came to Beaver Dam, Arizona where she lived the remainder of her life. She had no family so she became a member of the Roper family and we consider her a sister. We had many adventures together and traveled through many states of the United States. She started declining in health about 2021. She was an amazing person and will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at a later date as she was an active member to the church for many years.
