Barbara Jennette Perea

Barbara “Bobbi” Jennette Perea, age 83, of Mesquite, NV passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025. She was born on August 14, 1941 in Fresno, CA to Jack T Autrey and Galene Russell Autrey. She married and divorced and was remarried to Gilbert “Gil” Perea. Bobbi and Gil spent over 40 wonderful years together before he passed away on June 21, 2014. After Gil’s passing Bobbi moved to Mesquite NV in 2019.

Bobbi enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing darts, arts and crafts including quilting. She also, enjoyed cooking and loved to host social events with family and friends. She will be remembered for her quick wit and her joy for life which touched everyone who knew her. She also, was a devout Catholic Church member.

She is survived by her daughter Terri & husband Darrell Wiggam; Gil’s children; Robert Perea, Cecilia & husband Roman Gonzalez and Teresa Perea.

She loved 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In loving memory of her son’s Mark Stewart, Gilbert Perea; daughter Debby Lopez and grand-children Francisco Javier Lopez and Yvonne Martinez.

“Bobbi” will be remembered for her exciting spirit for life and her unwavering love and support of her family and friends, she will be greatly missed.

The family held a private viewing at Star Mortuary in Mesquite, NV. Barbara will be cremated and placed with her husband Gil, in Albuquerque, NM.
