Boulder City, NV. Brad Larsen Aged 73

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brad Larsen on September 27, 2026, at Nevada State Veterans Home.

Brad was born September 17, 1953, in Whittier, California to Jim and Barbara (Thrasher) Larsen. He spent his earlier years in Southern California, primarily Norwalk, CA. After high school graduation, Brad proudly joined the US ARMY where he served as a 67N Huey Helicopter Crew Chief. Brad served in both Panama and Vietnam during his time of service. Brad was Honorably Discharged in 1976 after a career ending injury in 1972

Brad was married to Donna Walters from 1977-1997 and their union led to 3 children. Brad was a dedicated father that enjoyed being involved in his children’s activities and hobbies. He specifically enjoyed the opportunity to take his children camping. Brad was a self-proclaimed firearms enthusiast and expert. He loved old cars and new trucks, Brad was always fond of a good ole western movie, especially if John Wayne was the star. Brad would often tell stories of his childhood, most often about camping and fishing trips with his father Jim and brother Brett. Brad always had a perfectly timed “Rebel” story about his childhood German Shepherd.

Brad discovered his true calling in life in 2013, with the birth of his first grandchild. He was a proud and dedicated Papa and was excited to tell stories about his grandchildren to anyone who would listen. Despite his medical difficulties, he always made the utmost effort to spend as much time as possible with his grandchildren and they loved his dearly.

Brad is survived by his children: Shannon Larsen of Litchfield, MN. Ryan (Heather) Larsen and their children, Avery, Blake and Ivy of Dryden, Ontario. Canada, & Christopher Larsen of Litchfield MN.

Brad is proceeded in death by both of his parents: Jim and Barbara Larsen and brother Brett Larsen.
