Casimer Robert Kusak

Boulder City, NV – Casimer Kusak, 76, passed away peacefully at home on June 4, 2026. He was born on August 28, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan to Helen C. Halat and Walter J. Kusak. He moved to Boulder City in 1990, and has been a staple in our community ever since.

Casimer, affectionately known as CazMan to many, was an avid 4th of July and Christmas parade participant who often had his bike or walker decorated to match the season. He enjoyed getting on stage with featured bands at the Backstop. He was welcomed with open arms at local businesses who were always so generous and kind to him. He cherished having the chance to visit people around town, sharing memories of his parents and life back home. He liked watching NASCAR and NFL games, especially the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite having mental challenges since birth, Caz navigated around town successfully and made a lot of friends along the way. He lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed sitting with and petting his family dog, Lila, while watching CHiPs on TV. He had a fondness for the grilled cheese sandwich at Maxx’s and looked forward to going to the Senior Center each morning for his daily coffee and conversation with others.

He is survived by his brother, Daniel Kusak (Claudia) of Boulder City, NV and many family members spread across the country. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ernie.

Our family is eternally grateful for the love and support the community offered to Caz. Your kind thoughts and memories demonstrated his impact on the Boulder City community and provided comfort to our hearts. Casimer will be laid to rest in the Boulder City Cemetery on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Graveside services will begin at 9:00am.
