Cassie Ann Hampton

Casmera “Cassie” Hampton, 79, of North Las Vegas, passed away on Saturday April 12, 2025. She was born May 8, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan to Cass and Bernice Switalski. She was married to Luther “Dave” Hampton Jr. on June 13, 1967 in Sacramento, CA. Both Cassie and Dave were longtime residents of the Las Vegas area, moving to Nevada in 1989.

 At the time of her passing, Cassie was employed as a Controller, working over 20 years in the construction industry in the Vegas valley. She spent her free time enjoying family, reading on her Kindle, and rooting for her favorite sports teams, San Francisco 49ers and Vegas Golden Knights. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Cassie and her family had lived in Southern Oregon and Northern California. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Dave, and her parents, Cass and Bernice. 

She is survived by a daughter, Kerri and her husband, Marty, and their two children, Meganne and Garrett; a son, Scott and his three children, Ian, Sean and Kinsley; and siblings, Gerry Perkowski, Marie Rooker and Steve Switalski. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, May 14 at 1:20 p.m. in the chapel at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, NV 89005.
