Catherine “Dianne” Walters, 79, passed away quietly on April 28, 2024.  She was born May 23, 1944, in Tempe, Arizona, to Edwin Whiting Daley Jr. and Julia Imogene Daley.  Dianne was the oldest of three children and graduated from Tempe High School.  She attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she met her husband, Curtis Ray Walters of 51 years; the two were married on December 19, 1964, in Tempe, Arizona.  Dianne and her husband relocated to Las Vegas, and then to Renton, Washington, before settling down in Boulder City, Nevada, where they raised their two children, Renee and Stephen.  After the passing of her husband, she moved to Mesquite, Nevada, to be closer to her son and granddaughters.

Dianne worked part-time for many years as a florist in Boulder City, her husband was a teacher, and together they built several homes in Boulder City Nevada, Camp Verde Arizona, Pine Valley Utah, and completed many other projects over the years.  She was dedicated to helping her family find success.  Dianne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.  

Dianne was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, she was most proud of her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed attending the many events they participated in.

She is survived by her brother Duane (Elaine) Daley, and her children, Renee Walters and Stephen (Heather) Walters, and three grandchildren, Sarah (Joshua) Erickson, Jenna Walters, and Julia Walters.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, and brother, Edwin “Eddie” Whiting Daley III.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Boulder City Cemetery. Family and friends can sign an online guestbook at www.starmortuary.com .
