April 9, 1960 — January 23, 2014
Christopher Wayne Boovy, 53, son of Carolyn Pestana and Robert Boovy passed away on January 23, 2014. He was born in New Orleans, LA on April 9, 1960.
He is survived by his mother Carolyn, a brother Robert, Nephew Bradley, many cousins in North Carolina, and step brothers and step sisters in California.
Chris had his faults, as we all do, but he had a good heart and soul. He meant no harm to anyone. He was honest, fair, and generous, understanding, but mostly mis-understood.
The demons he fought hard to get rid of finally got the best of him.
He loved wide open spaces, a hill with a view, with no noise, as we all do.
Rest in Peace, Chris; God will embrace you.
