Dale Orville Jones, 78, passed away at his home, on December 10, 2025. Dale was born on April 20, 1947, in Fresno, California. He was the oldest of four children to Walter and Jean (Meneese) Jones. He was married to Jeannie in Boulder City, NV.
Dale spent his childhood in Clovis, California. He graduated from Clovis High School and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California State University-Fresno (Fresno State) where he participated in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Program. Dale served in both the United States Army and Air Force. Dale loved the United States of America. In his retirement, Dale enjoyed his family and friends, and serving the community through his participation as a proud officer, Esteemed Loyal Knight, and later became Inner Guard in the Boulder City Elks Lodge #1682.
Dale is survived by his wife, Jeannie, who resides in Boulder City. His daughters, Brandi (Steven) Hopkins and Leslee (John) Sarno. His stepchildren, Tammy Mackin, Daryl Griffiths, and Rodger Griffiths. Dale has 13 grandchildren, Mitchell, Travis, Jacob, James, Macie, Melissa, Meghan, Michele, Madalyn, Andrea, Jayden, Brooke, and Emily. He also had two great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Roger, and his granddaughter Madalyn.
A memorial service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery on February 27th, at 11:20 am. Immediately following the memorial there will be a celebration of life at the Boulder City Elks Lodge #1682. 1217 Boulder City Parkway BC.
