Daniel Hernandez

Daniel Hernandez, 51, of Mesquite NV, passed away on June 30, 2025. He was born in Los Angeles on January 10, 1974 to Ramon Hernandez and Martha Holguin.

Daniel Hernandez was raised in Pasadena, California and moved to Mesquite, NV in his early 20s he went to trade school for HVAC worked as a service tech, painter and later on as a cook in the food service industry. Daniel enjoyed cooking, carpentry, golfing, Target shooting, horseback riding, RC cars, everyone knew him to be a good cook and enjoyed his breakfast often, he also enjoyed off-roading and would always purchase new dirt bikes and four wheelers for both of his sons as they grew up. Daniel also enjoyed the snow, he wasn't around snow often but when he was he always talked about how awesome it was. Daniel was very funny and loved making people laugh he would light up any room he walked into with smiles and lots of laughter, He was a beloved son brother cousin uncle father grandpa and friend to all.

 Daniel is survived by his three children, Danny Jr Hernandez, Gustavo Hernandez, and Priscilla Jimenez; Grandkids, Ziamora Hernandez, Cruz Crow; Parent's Ramon & Martha Hernandez; Brother's Cesar, Joe, Victor, Guillermo; Sister Lourdes Macattanga and many uncle's aunt's cousin's nephew's and niece's. 

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at Star Mortuary 300 Riverside Road Mesquite, NV 89027. Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 12 Noon at La Virgen de Guadalupe Catholic Church 401 Canyon Crest Blvd Mesquite, NV 89027 with a Rosary immediately preceding at 11:30AM. Burial will take place at the New City of Mesquite Cemetery 1362 Hardy Way Mesquite, NV 89027.
