Denis Eugene Paez

Denis Eugene Paez, age 78, of Mesquite, NV passed away on January 9, 2024 in St George, UT.  He was born in San Fransico, CA on February 23, 1945 to Salvadore Paez and Ruth Lucier Paez.  Denis moved to Mesquite from Orange County California three years ago.

Denis was a man committed to his faith; he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mesquite.  He helped to start their Celebrate Recovery Program.  Denis enjoyed participating in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) and Bible Study programs at the church.  He also loved to create family genealogy maps. A major physical accomplishment in his life was running in fourteen marathons.

Denis is survived by his four children Roc (Mary) Paez, Will (Lori) Williams, Corey (Karina) Paez, Carla (Gilbert Rodrigues) Paez; his nine grandchildren Courtney, Russell, Matthew, Shanna, Tehana, Anuhea, Gilbert, Dominique, Carlos; and his five great grandchildren Amelya, Kiera, Ariiura, A’Lakai and Takura.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church – Mesquite 830 E Hafen Lane, Mesquite, NV.  A visitation will be prior the service from 1 PM to 2 PM.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to First Baptist Church in the name of Denis Paez.  Family and friends are invited to leave memories and condolences at www.starmortuary.com
