Don Allen Lightfoot

Don Allen Max Lightfoot, age 86, of Mesquite, NV passed away on June 30, 2024. He was born on March 6, 1938 in Los Angeles, CA. Don served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1956 to 1959 and was a proud patriot. He married Margaret Jo Heimark in Coeur d’Alene, ID. They moved to Mesquite about five years ago from Cedar Edge, CO.

Don loved the outdoors including fishing and camping. He was a talented woodworker and made numerous bird houses. He enjoyed feeding the birds and working his green thumb in the garden. Don will be remembered for his sweet tooth and his love for doughnuts and cookies.

Don his survived by his wife Margaret Jo Lightfoot; son Nolan Lightfoot; sister Darlene Weld; granddaughter Poppy and grandson Mason. Family and friends are invited to share condolences at www.starmortuary.com
