Donald Philley

Donald Edward Philley, age 88, of Boulder City, NV passed away on June 8, 2020 at his home.  He was born on June 7, 1932 in Denver, Co to Leonard and Juanita Gwendolyn Eady Philley. When Donald was 15 years old, he enlisted in the United States Army and did three tours in Korea.  After the war transferred to Fort Bliss, TX and was discharged in 1955.   He married Joan Bleeck Link on May 10, 1969 in Winterhaven, CA.  They have lived in Boulder City for the past 19 years and spent 10 years in Vegas prior to moving to Boulder City.

Donald enjoyed camping, hunting, gold panning, metal detecting, spending time on the computer, doing mechanical things like working on cars and building. Donald also raised garden worms.

He is survived by his wife Joan Philley of NV; two sons Robert Philley of CO, Donald Philley of MT; a daughter Caroline Philley-Esquivel of CA; two sisters Clara and Mildred; a brother Waylon.  He is preceded in death by a son Joe Philley.
