Duane and Eunice were united in marriage on March 9, 2001, during a memorable St. Patrick’s Day parade, with the King of the parade officiating as Justice of the Peace. It was a unique and cherished beginning to a marriage built on love, devotion, and a lifetime of shared memories.

After earning his associate degree in Louisiana, Duane relocated to Nevada, where he built a successful and fulfilling career in cybersecurity. His passion for technology, dedication to his profession, and exceptional knowledge allowed him to become a respected leader in his field. As a manager overseeing a team of 24 individuals, he earned the admiration and respect of those who had the privilege of working alongside him. He took immense pride in his work, but his greatest accomplishments were never measured by professional success alone.

Duane dreamed of traveling the world and experiencing all that life had to offer. He approached life with determination, resilience, and a spirit that could not easily be shaken. One of his favorite sayings, “Duane and Nisi against the world!” reflected the strength and resolve with which him and his wife faced life’s challenges.

Though Duane was a private man, the love he carried for his wife and daughter was immeasurable. He did not need grand gestures or countless words to express what they meant to him. His love was evident in his devotion, his presence, and the life he worked so hard to build for his family. To Eunice and Megan, he was so much more than a husband and father. He was their protector, their source of strength, and a love that can never be replaced.

Words cannot fully capture the depth of his family’s love for him or the emptiness his absence leaves behind. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, in the moments they shared, and in the countless ways he touched their lives.
