Duane Darrell Varley

Duane passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  He grew up in Long Beach, California with his sisters Ann and Linda and their parents Gordon William Varley and Helen Ruth Hamilton Schroeder Varley.  He met and married his high school sweetheart, Dixie Wenzel Varley in 1955 and together had 5 children, 13 grands, 15 great grands and 4 great great grands.  He loved everything golf, RV traveling with his wife, a good dark beer with his daughter, wagering $1 bets on football with his granddaughter, tacos, chicken wings and ribs.  He lived a wonderful life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
