Edward Chow

Edward Chow, age 84, passed away on July 21, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He was born on October 13, 1931 in Oakland, California to Quong and MooJing Chow.  Edward served in the United States Army for four and a half years.  Edward married Myra Lowe 62 years ago on July 11, 1954 in California.  In 1993, they moved to the Las Vegas Valley from Southern California.

Edward always had a smile on his face and loved to tell jokes and kept several binders of his favorites.  He also collected coins.  He was an excellent marksman when it came to shooting and loved to go hunting and was very proud of his moose. He was a member of the Orange County Rod and Gun Club and he also enjoyed fishing and camping and golfing.   As a patriot he was a member of the VFW.  He was involved in a local hiking group called Around the Bend Hiking Club.  In their golden years Edward and Myra enjoyed traveling and became world travelers.

Edward is survived by his wife Myra; four children, Tina (Kurt) Kosbab, Teresa (Frank) Harris, Travis (Vicki) Chow, Tom (Lisa) Chow; three grandchildren, Marissa(Kelley) Hall and Cameron Kosbab and Jessica Chow; and one sister, Fannie Lee.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Harvey Chow.
