Elmo H Woolstenhulme of Mesquite, NV age 79, passed away on May 11, 2024 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born on October 3, 1944 in Driggs, ID to George Stephen Woolstenhulme and Vanna Vera Cover Woolstenhulme. He grew up in Victor, ID and moved to Idaho Falls where he lived and loved until moving to Mesquite, NV 4 years ago. He married Karla Jean Hansen in Tetonia, ID on April 18, 1966.
He worked in Idaho Falls at Print Craft Press prior to his retirement.
Elmo loved the beautiful outdoors of Idaho and exploring all it has to offer. He loved fishing, camping, golf and spending time four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and hunting. Above all Elmo loved his family and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was the life of the party and would put a smile on everyone’s face. He was a kind-hearted person and a friend to many.
Elmo is survived by: wife Karla Jean Woolstenhulme of Mesquite, NV; Daughter Tona Rae Bean (Julius Wayne) of Las Vegas, NV; Daughter Kristie Gay Burke of Idaho Falls, ID; son Lonnie D Woolstenhulme of Mesquite, NV; grandchildren Ashley Bean, Malyssa Burke, and Brandon Burke; great grandchildren Braydon and Dalton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his 9 older siblings.
No service will be held and Elmo was cremated and will be scattered in some of his favorite places. Family and friends are invited to leave memories or condolences at www.starmortuary.com .
