Frank Grubb
June 15, 1939 — February 23, 2016
Frank R. Grubb, age 76, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on February 23, 2016. He was born on June 15, 1939 in Cheybogen, Michigan to Frank and Dorothy Grubb. As a young man he meet, fell in love and married Ilona Speil. Frank was a true patriot who served his country in the United States Air Force retiring as CMSGT after 25 years. He lived in Anchorage, Alaska from 1973 to 1995 before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Frank was a devoted and loving husband and a wonderful father. He spent much of his life touring the world in the military and as a civilian. He was an avid outdoorsman with an endless love for hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Ilona Grubb; his son Raymond (Annie) Grubb with their children Kevin (Chantel), Alexander, and Corey Gregory (Louise); his daughter Cheryle Davis with her children Adam, Shane, and Chelsea; and seven great grandchildren and a brother Bill (Hilda) Grubb and family.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 12:40 pm. It will be conducted at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada, 89005.
