Freddy Wainwright

Freddy L Wainwright, age 64, of Boulder City, NV, passed away on November 1, 2021, in Henderson, NV. He was born on May 10, 1957, in Sioux City, IA, to Eugene James Wainwright and Victoria Harriet Phillips Wainwright. He had moved to Boulder City in 2006 from Sioux City to be closer to family.

Freddy enjoyed playing basketball in his younger years. He also liked riding and building bicycles and was often seen riding his bike around Boulder City for the past 15 years. He loved to listen to Jimmy Hendrix and to play his guitar. He was employed at the Elks Lodge and worked as a custodian. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with family and especially his grandchildren.

Fred is survived by two sons Jason (Cathy) Wainwright Sr.; Brian (Timber) Wainwright; a brother Elmer Wainwright; two sisters Margaret Wainwright, Lucille Wainwright; seven grandchildren Moses, Jason Jr., Geno, Jaylese, Dakota, Nakota, and Rueben; and four great-grandchildren.
