Gary Capozzi

Gary William Cappozzi, age 61, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on August 7, 2015. He was born on December 2, 1953 in Queens, NY to Angelo and Helen Capozzi. He joined the United States Army and served for 10 years and then served in the National Guard for 13 years. He was a true patriot and was proud to have served for 23 years. He moved to Las Vegas, NV from Fort Ord, CA in 1993. He married Barbara Harrill on June 5, 2004 in Las Vegas.

Gary was a member of the Teamsters Union 631. He enjoyed watching football and had a love for cars. He loved to work on cars and was a great mechanic. He was a man of faith and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Gary is survived by his wife Barbara Cappozzi, son Adam (Alma) Capozzi, daughter Susan Cappozzi, stepchildren LeRoy Carter, Darrin Harrill, Charlene Mariano; a sister Jean Brim, five grandchildren Autumn, Danielle, Gisele, Julia and Madeline. He preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Helen Capozzi, two brothers Richard and Daniel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 8 am to 9am at the Boulder City Family Mortuary 833 Nevada Hwy #1 Boulder City, NV. Funeral service will follow at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City at 9:20 am.
