George Henry Margolis

Boulder City, Nevada - George Margolis, 94, passed away Wednesday, July 30th at Southern Nevada Veterans Home. He was born May 6,1931 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

George served in the United States Army and Air Force. After retirement, he ran for public office in California. George lived a long life filled with adventure, leaving each experience embedded in his memory until his last breath. He loved to speak about his life experiences and the many people he met, as often as possible with his chosen family and anyone willing to lend a listening ear.

George is survived by Cynthia Wunderlich, his companion for more than 20 years. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and sister.

George Margolis will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, August 25th in a private ceremony for friends and family.
