Gerald Fjeld

Gerald, a man of loyal love and humble spirit, was born in Aneta, North Dakota, to Marvin Fjeld and Clara (Flohaug) on May 27, 1935. He met the love of his life, Charlotte Lucille Palmer, and together they raised five loving sons: Chad (Lynn) of Visalia, CA; Cory (Pam) of Coeur d'Alene, ID; Kyle of Palmdale, CA; Kent of Visalia, CA; and Todd (Nancy) of Tehachapi, CA. They were blessed with 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Jerry earned his degree as an aerospace engineer from NDSU in Fargo, North Dakota, and later his degree as a civil engineer. In 1961, he moved his family to California to pursue his career and later retired in Mesquite, NV, where he passed peacefully at home at 90. He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; son, Kyle; and grandsons, Travis and Raymond. His presence was a constant comfort and will be deeply missed.
