Gerald E. Symmonds, age 80 of Boulder City, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Born June 25, 1932 in Rankin, Illinois to Ethel and Earl Symmonds. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Morris, his three children, Casandra (Ogie) Dimitrov, Cindy (Matthew) Schranz and Gerald E. Symmonds, Jr.; three grandchildren, Eric (Whitney) Spagnola, Cuyler Symmonds Calkins and Venetzia (Adam) Madison; and three great grandchildren, Lucy Ione Spagnola, Adam Madison, Jr. and Evan Madison. Gerald was the last surviving sibling of Irene (Bob) Meyer, Dorothy Baumgartner, Edith (Bob) Davis, Florence (Ernie) Doering, Howard (Lonette) Symmonds and Melvin (Lucille) Symmonds. A Memorial Service and celebration of Gerald's life, was held on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Boulder City Elks Lodge No. 1682.
