Glenn K. Crose, passed away at the age of 77 on June 2, 2024, in Boulder City, NV. He was the son of Thurston and Clara Crose.
Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Shawn Crose, and his sister, Norma (Crose) Clement. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynne Crose, Niece, Tracy (Clement) Berg, and her husband, Jeremy Berg, and grand nieces Paige and Britta. His nephew, Joey Clement, and grand nephew Zephyr Clement, his brother, Gaylon Crose of Japan, and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn and Lynne were united in marriage on July 20, 1968, at First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Glenn was drafted into the Army in 1968 and was sent to Korea, returning in 1970. After his military service, Glenn dedicated himself to his work, retiring from NCR in 2006.
Fishing was a lifelong love of his, and his skill with woodworking was unmatched. He crafted beautiful pieces, including a boat, furniture, crafts for Lynne’s store, wood carvings, and toys for his nieces and nephews. His creativity and craftsmanship will be remembered by all who knew him.
The family will be holding a funeral service to honor Glenn's life Wednesday June 5th at 2 PM at Star Mortuary, Boulder City, Nevada. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boulder City Senior Center or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, causes that were close to his heart.
A special message of gratitude is extended to Douglas and Charlene from Nevada Home Hospice, as well as caretaker Miranda, for their compassionate care and support during Glenn's final days.
