Irene McQuerry

Irene R. McQuerry, 98, passed away on September 24, 2026 at home. She was born June 11, 1928 in Bad Mergentheim, Germany to William and Charlotte Drexel. She was married to her husband on June 3, 1950 in her hometown of Bad Mergentheim and came to America as a war-bride after WWII;

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 76 years CSM Charles L. McQuerry, US Army Vet. She is survived by three children; Sylvia Barrows (David), Charles L. McQuerry Jr., James WM. McQuerry,; one granddaughter Melinda K. Lindstrom (Eddie) three great-grandchildren; Tyler, Morgan and Garrett Lindstrom.

She was a devoted wife and mother to her family and an active volunteer during their 30 years of military life! Family was previously residence of Colorado Springs. She will be missed by all “She Shall Rest in Peace”

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 26 at 12:00 noon at Calvary Chapel Boulder City 1000 Nevada Hwy Boulder City, NV 89005.Burrial will follow the service at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr at 1:20.
