Janet Lynn Bluhm, age 73, of Henderson, NV, passed away on August 31, 2020 from Covid-19. She was born on March 26, 1947 in Taft, CA to John Roy French and Edna Marjorie Owens French.
Janet was a very intelligent child and was in the National Honor Society. As a child one of her fondest memories was being a member of the Bixby Knolls Church Youth Group. She was an exceptional artist specializing in painting cheetahs, tigers and custom murals and later received her Associates of Art in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Houston. She was known for wearing animal print every day and even decorated her home in it. She was dedicated and tireless in doing a job right. Janet was a cashier at Home Depot and received many awards for her performance at work including the “Platinum Homer Award” and the “Top Credit Card Sales Award”.
Janet is survived by one son James Harlan Harris (Margo Beck), two daughters Deborah Lynn Jacobs (Bruce Jacobs) and Wendy Lynn Bluhm; and six grandchildren Spiro Jacob John Pettas, Katie Scarlett Derr, William Robert Derr, Jordan Taylor Lynn Shillcock, Dakota Amy Lynn Shillcock and Stefanie Michelle Jacobs. She never missed celebrating a birthday or sending her holiday letter to everyone she cared about and will be deeply missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date when it is safer to hold group gatherings. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made at www.Panthera.org in the name of Janet Bluhm.
