Janet Hamilton

April 15, 1937 — August 5, 2020

Boulder City

On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, Janet Anett Hamilton, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away.

Anett was born on April 15, 1937 in Wilcox, AZ . On July 22, 1955 she married her soulmate, Jess Hamilton. They raised two daughters, June and Jan.

Anett had a passion for painting and through her art she will continue to inspire and touch those closest to her. She was a free spirit who loved to travel.

Though it breaks our hearts to lose her, as she took a piece of our hearts with her, we know she is not alone and we find comfort in knowing she is home. We also know she’s in heaven dancing to her favorite songs by  Bobby Goldsboro and we are left here with those lyrics to carry us on,  “When flowers bloom and robins sing she went away and honey, I miss you and I’m bein’ good and I’d love to be with you if only I could. Now all I have are memories and I wake up nights and call her name.”

Lastly, to our dear Anett, in tears we watched you slipping away and though our hearts were aching, we knew you couldn’t stay. There are no words we can speak to express how much we love you and there is nothing more we can say, but know it is your love and warmth we will hold close to our hearts until we see each other again one day.

Anett is survived by her husband Jess, her two children, June and Jan, her brothers Chuck and Clyde, sister Mary, two granddaughters, Jennifer and Joi and great grand children Cody, Wyatt, Sofia, Jayden and Maddox.
