Janice Lee Mott, age, 85 of Boulder City, Nevada passed away on June 5th, 2026. Janice was born on September 22,1940 in Trenton New Jersey, to Norbert Guenther and Leona (Maues) Guenther.

With her parents, Janice moved to South Milwaukee, Wisconsin at a very young age, and attended both elementary and high school there.

In 1976 she married James Mott and together they raised four children. In 1978 James and Janice moved to Boulder City, Nevada. Janice began a lifelong career in the food and beverage industry. After spending 18 years with Boyd gaming, her interests turned to catering. She enjoyed feeding crowds from 10 to 10,000 people and happily made sure that everyone ate.

Janice also loved to take trips with her husband Jim. They would drive and always had a full itinerary of places to stop and visit across the country.

After the passing of Jim in 2021, Janice became active in a community of close friends, Cathy, Nancy, Jan, and Carol. They enjoyed playing various card games and board games several times weekly as well as dining out together.

Janice was also a devout Christian and was active in her church, Green Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Jodie Kasich of Las Vegas, NV. Sons, Scott (Rena) Dombrowski of Boulder City, NV, Daniel (Dawn) Dombrowski of Boulder City, Nv, and daughter Jackie Baughman of Sheboygan, Wi. Granddaughter Kianna Dombrowski (Myles), great grandchildren Cole and Sage of Henderson, NV. Grandson Travis (Steph) Baughman, great granddaughter Phoebe, Wisconsin Dells, Wi., Grandaughter Sarah (Alex) Baughman, Rhinelander, Wi., Grandson Matthew (Hannah), Great grandchildren, Lincoln and Leila of Cleveland, Wi.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Mott, parents Norbert & Leona Guenther, sister Grace and brother-in-law Tally Rodman.

Jan was a wonderful Grandma and an even greater, Great Grandma. She was so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the lives that they were leading. She was also a loving aunt to Lisa Rodman & Randy Rodman and Amy Rodman Wallenhorst all from Berlin, Wi.

A church service and Memorial will be held in September close to what would have been her 86th birthday. More information will be forth coming, and all are invited to attend.
