Jennifer (Dysinger) Sologub passed away on August 8, 2023 in Mesquite, NV.
Jennifer was born to Rosemary and Mick Dysinger on April 8, 1967, the last of their 7 children. Jennifer graduated from high school in Butte and went on to further her education at Montana Tech where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Safety and Health and then achieved a Master of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene.
Jennifer met the love of her life Joe Sologub in Kindergarten. They were married in 1989 and graduated from Montana Tech together. Upon graduation they were both hired by Marathon Oil Company. They moved to Lafayette, Louisiana and began their 26 years in the Oil and Gas Industry that took them to 7 locations in 4 different states. In addition, Jennifer worked on international projects in Scotland, Ireland, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea during her career.
Joe and Jennifer chose to take early retirement in 2017 and spent the first couple of years in San Antonio before choosing to move closer to family and Montana in Mesquite, NV. There Jennifer found great friends and lots of activities that made it feel like home.
Jennifer is survived by her husband of 34 years; siblings Elaine (Jim) Benner, Mike Dysinger, Dan (Catherine) Dysinger, sister-in-law Patti (John Healy) Dysinger, sisters Jeanne (Rob) Farrell, Janice (Kenn) Gray; her in-laws Joe and Terri Sologub, and sisters-in-law Colleen (Gordon) Sologub-Sobering, and Cynthia (Chad) Galbavy; nieces and nephews and their families: Martha (Dwight) Paulson, Mike (Tara) Benner, Ryan (Caron) Benner, John Dysinger, Richard Dysinger, Eamon (Pam) Dysinger, Conner (Leela Robert) Dysinger, Danielle Dysinger, Katie (Sam) Walters, Dr. Hannah (Cody) Dysinger -McLaughlin, Jason (Lindsie) Gray, Megan (Tyler) Golden, Zachary (Audrianna) Gray, and Heath and Case Galbavy; and close and dear friends Lorie and Dale Malody and Margot and Alan Centanni who tried desperately to teach her to play the Ukulele.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dave Dysinger, sister-in-law Rosie Dysinger and niece Billie Dysinger.
On September 9, 2023, a memorial service will be held in Mesquite, NV at the Sun City Mesquite Pioneer Center - Veterans Hall from 1-3 pm.
September 30, 2023, a funeral mass, and luncheon will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Butte, Montana. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am and the luncheon will immediately follow the mass at St Anns Hall.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Butte Emergency Food Bank, Montana Tech or Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network or the charity of your choice
