Jerrold “Jerry” Hermann passed away on January 9, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV.  He was born on June 1, 1944 in South Bend, Indiana to John and Lois Hermann.  Jerry served his country in the United States Army as a Medic and a participant of Project CD-22 Operation Whitecoat. After his military service, he continued to serve others as a respiratory therapist up to his retirement in 1990.

Jerry celebrated 51 years of marriage with the love of his life, Darlene Reagan Hermann. They raised three boys together, who all followed in their father’s military footsteps.  In addition to his family and his country, Jerry’s greatest passions included surfing, collecting and restoring antique clocks, fishing, telling stories, and editing family photos.

Jerry is survived by his wife Darlene Reagan Hermann; his children Keith (Mishelle) Hermann, David (Christine) Hermann, and Daniel (Meagan) Hermann; his siblings Jack (Karen) Hermann, James (Kay) Hermann, and Cheryl Hermann; his grandchildren Dylan, Cody, Lilli, Pauline, Katelyn, Isabella, and Sophia; and a host of other family and friends who loved him dearly.  He was preceded in death by his parents John and Lois Hermann; and his brothers Robert and Philip Hermann.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2:00pm at Star Mortuary: 6484 Boulder Ranch Ave. Henderson, NV 89011.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at
