Jesse Craig Berger

Feb 21, 1950 — Oct 5, 2026

Mesquite, Nevada

Jesse Craig Berger, 76, passed away October 5th, 2026, in the comfort of his home in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born on February 21st, 1950, in Driggs, Idaho to Garland (Bud) and Mary (Dewey) Berger. He was the youngest of five children. He married Connie (Rhea) Berger on May 7th, 1971, in Bluffdale, Utah.

Jesse Craig was born and raised in Driggs Idaho and moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 1963. He attended and graduated high school from Jackson High in 1968 (Go Broncs). He attended Weber State University where he graduated in 1970 with a degree in Radiologic Technology.

He worked at LDS Hospital, which is where he met the love of his life, Connie. Together, they moved to Jackson where Jesse Craig worked for his family’s plumbing business, Berger Plumbing. Their children were born in Jackson, but raised in Evanston, Wyoming after he took a position working in the oilfield as a plant operator.

He was a lifelong, avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast (particularly having a love for the Dodgers, Jazz, Evanston Red Devils, Dallas Cowboys, and Wyoming Cowboys… Go Pokes!). His fondest memories were Ice Fishing and using his snowplane on Jackson Lake. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad, brothers, brother in laws, nephews, sons, and grandchildren.

Spending time on Flaming Gorge was an absolute must during the summer on his boat. Jesse Craig was a social man, who loved calling and receiving calls. He was always up for any conversation (especially if it was about the Dallas Cowboys). He also enjoyed traveling with his wife in their fifth wheel. Jesse Craig loved his family dearly and was proud of all of them. He enjoyed bragging about them all, and always remembered everyone's birthday.

Jesse Craig is survived by his wife Connie, his sons Ryan (Brenda) and Jamey, and his daughter Kimberlee Dickinson. His grandchildren Rylee (Sam), Garrett, Shaylee, Gage, Karston, Kaden, and Savanna, his sister Deanna (Mac). He is preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Lajuana and Charles Rhea, his siblings Joann (George), Raymond, Richard, and his son Scott (Brook).

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. There will be more information to follow. In lieu of flowers, please reach out to family members with a phone call.
