Jimmy Neal Carlton, 78, of Boulder City, Nevada, passed away on Thursday, October 19th, 2023. He was born on October 23rd, 1944, in Owensboro, Kentucky. His life was a testament to his unwavering devotion, selflessness, and love.  He proudly served in the US Air Force, retiring as a Sergeant III, followed by many years as Chief of Security in Las Vegas.  Jimmy had a passion for genealogy and loved to golf, read, cook, paint, and watch sports with his loved ones, but especially loved to spend time with family.  

Jimmy is survived by his children, Jeanette, Peggy, Kim, Kenny, Roxanna, Micheal, and Joelenne, and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret. Additionally, he leaves behind many grandchildren,  great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss his big gentle smile, welcoming arms for hugs, and love for his family.  Jimmy never missed an opportunity to celebrate his family by sending cards, exemplifying his loving and kind nature.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 1st, at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Following the service, a celebration of Jimmy's life and a luncheon will be hosted at the home of Justin & Brittnee Rathjen.
