Joni Marie Casper , 67, of Mesquite, Nevada, passed away on December 1, 2025 , surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born on June 1, 1958, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Joni lived a rich, full, and adventurous life defined by generosity, business achievement, and an unshakable spirit.
Joni was born the daughter of Guy Stanley Creager and Doris Parr. She was part of a caring family that included her brothers John Murice Creager; Steven Stanley Creager (deceased); Ronald Lee Creager; and her sister Cynthia Gene (Creager) Dunahugh . She also shared a special bond with her sister Donna Creager. Joni was also blessed with a chosen second adopted family. She was the cherished daughter of Albert L. Taylor (deceased) and E. Marie Taylor , and sister to her adoptive brothers Merle E. Taylor (deceased) and Troy L. Taylor , as well as her adoptive sister L. Brooke (Taylor) Pritchett .
Joni held deep love for all of her families, honoring each relationship throughout her life.
Joni shared her life with her beloved wife, Senga L. Campbell, from Orem, UT. They married on Dec.23,2013. Joni also adored her dogs, Zoe and Elsa, who brought her immense happiness and companionship throughout her life.
A highly successful business executive , Joni earned her Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Business. She built a career in the supply chain industry marked by leadership, loyalty, relationships and compassion. She was admired by colleagues and forged lasting friendships everywhere she worked. Her warmth, intelligence, and ability to inspire others left a profound impact on all who knew her.
Joni also served an 18-month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Uruguay.
Outside of her career, Joni embraced life with remarkable enthusiasm. She loved to travel and was always ready for a new adventure. She enjoyed playing softball, snow skiing, water skiing, golfing, scuba diving, and hiking—finding joy in every opportunity to be outdoors. Her adventurous nature was matched only by her kindness; Joni was known for her extraordinary generosity. If she saw someone in need, she did not hesitate to help in any way she could.
Joni’s final wishes were to be cremated, with her ashes scattered in Ocean City, Maryland, and on Mount Timpanogos in Utah —two places that held great meaning for her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m., in the Broadbent Room, 128 N 100 E, Lehi, Utah. All who knew and loved Joni are welcome to attend.
Joni will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and the boundless love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the many lives she touched.
