Judith “Judy” Ann McComb, age 79, of Boulder City, NV passed away on April 12, 2026, surrounded by family. Above all else, she treasured her family and her friendships.
Judy was born on February 7, 1947, in Colusa, CA to Chester Arthur Boggs and Elaine Odom Boggs. Raised in Sacramento, CA, Judy was a member of the International Order of Job’s Daughters from the ages of 12 to 20, which she praised as the best years of her life, crediting her grandfather for her involvement. On March 10, 1979, she married Jack Lloyd McComb, in Sacramento, CA, moving to Boulder City, NV later that same year.
Judy worked as a medical biller for St. Rose de Lima Hospital for over 40 years. She was an active member of her local sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, for 45 years, where she made life-long friends. Judy enjoyed serving the community through her sorority and making beautiful memories with her closest friends, who inevitably became family. She went on many adventures and cherished her “girl’s trips.”
Judy is survived by her three children Mark (Darrell) McComb, Brian (Kristin) Shelton, Travis (Donna) McComb; seven grandchildren Jack, Dylan, Aria, Kaila, Ian, Ashlynn, Siena; a sister Sharon Weaver, and nephew Shawn Austin. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, who passed away in 2017, as well as her beloved parents and grandparents.
Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:30 am at St Andrew’s Catholic Church, 1900 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005. She will be laid to rest next to Jack at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 12:00 pm. A reception will be held at 12:30 pm at the Boulder City Elks Lodge #1682, 1217 Boulder City Pkwy, Boulder City, NV 89005. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made in Judy’s honor to The Burn Foundation, www.theburnfoundation.org, or by writing a check to Firefighters of Southern NV Burn Foundation and her family will send them in.
