Kaylen Douglas LeBaron

May 14, 1961 — May 13, 2025

Anchorage AK

After five years of living with cancer, Kaylen Douglas LeBaron passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at home in Anchorage, Alaska, on May 13th, 2025. He was born on May 14th, 1961, in Chihuahua, Mexico as the 17th of his father’s 58 children. He and his first wife, Kelly Jean, moved to Alaska in 1982, where they raised five children and grew a small drywall business into a thriving construction company that helped shape large parts of Anchorage’s residential landscape.

He is survived by his wife, Daylen, his five children, Verla, Kaylen Jr., Candis, Kody and Alora, and two grandchildren. He is also survived by 47 brothers and sisters, who were overjoyed that he fulfilled his final wish of attending a sibling reunion with them, two weeks before he died. Kaylen will be remembered by his loved ones for his generosity, ambition, tenacity, and boisterous sense of humor.
