“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith.” II Timothy. 4:7

Kenneth Leon Bell, age 78, of Boulder City, NV passed away on January 22, 2019. He was born on July 22, 1940 in McKeesport, PA to Victor and Bernice Hobby Bell.  After graduating from Milligan College in TN his first job was a teacher of high school chemistry and biology in Kinsman, Ohio.

Strongly attracted to the outdoors of the southwest, he moved to Las Vegas, NV where his first job was at the NV Test Site.  At the closure of the program he was working for he moved on to TIMET In Henderson, NV as a foreman and supervisor for 35 years.  He was known as a compassionate man on the job who honestly cared about each and every one of his people.

He enjoyed baseball for many years as a boy and in college where the St. Louis Cardinals spotted him with an invitation to play with their organization.  Even though he didn’t accept their offer he continued his love of sports over the years playing recreation softball and coaching youth baseball teams as well as a volunteer with Special Olympics.  Following Steeler and Seahawks football on tv with his kids was a favorite spectator sport.   He loved being in the outdoors and the mountains where he enjoyed fishing and hunting and camping with his family in out of the way places.  After retirement he enjoyed many rounds of golf and some woodworking.   He also had a love for the Word of God all of his life and that had him studying many hours especially about prophecy.

Ken is survived by his wife Pat whom he married in December 1963, three children Laurie (Kelly) Peters, Randal Bell, Lindsey Bell, 2 grandchildren Cailey and Rob and a brother Victor (Eva) Bell of Warren, Ohio.
