Kenneth Lutzow 75, of Boulder City Nevada passed away peacefully on Monday September 29, 2025. Ken was born in California where he grew up surfing and hot-rodding cars, passions that would stay with him throughout his life. He met the love of his life Maureen and after what some would call stalking he was fortunate enough to marry her in 1974. Ken was drafted into the U.S. Air Force and after serving his country they had two children before settling down in Winnemucca Nevada where Ken began a long career with the Valmy Power Plant. There they welcomed their third child. He became deeply involved in his kids' school and sports forming countless lifelong friendships along the way.

After retiring Ken enjoyed spending time working on his beloved classic cars, traveling, fishing, boating, camping, and getting involved in search and rescue resulting in making amazing memories with his children and grandchildren. When Maureen retired, after 40+ years in Winnemucca they decided to move to Boulder City Nevada where true to form Ken quickly made another circle of great friends. He continued restoring cars, living life to the fullest, traveling, and making close friends across the country.

Ken is survived by his "honey" Maureen Lutzow, his wife of 51 years, his children, Lonnie Lutzow, Jodie Lutzow, Annie Olsen, Kimberly Robinson, Joseph Robinson, and Dani Lutzow. His grandkids Nathan Lutzow, Bailey Chasten, Dylan Lutzow, Jonathan Chasten, and Julia Robinson as well as his great-grandson Archie, brother and sister in law, Patti Patterson, Larry Patterson, Mark Kennedy, Lee Rankin, Linda Lawyer, Anne Lutzow, and Judy Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Pearl Lutzow, brother Larry Lutzow, and his grandson Andrew Chasten, along with many dear friends and family who welcomed him home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family will share details when plans are made.

Dad will be remembered for his quick wit, love and devotion to his family and friends. His love of classic cars and the outdoors. He sure made life a good time for everyone lucky enough to know him and I hope you never pulled his finger, saw his “butterfly” or asked him what kind of rock you were holding. Thank you to everyone who made his me
