Lina Charlene Morger

Lina Charlene Morger, age 88, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Mesa Valley Estates. She was born August 17, 1937 in Bloomington, IL.

Daughter of Gertrude Estes (nee Shields) and Walter Estes. She married Frank Phillip Morger, born May 2, 1934 in Bloomington, IL February 4th,1956; divorced 2001. Charlene was raised in Bloomington, IL and after her marriage lived in several communities within Illinois. She retired from Walmart after 20+years, working in several different departments and store locations. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening and was an active member of the Lutheran Church. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Ann Hager (Russell) of Zionsville, IN and Kathryn Jean Lubben (Kenneth) of Mesquite, NV. She also was the proud grandmother of two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by her brother, Walter Estes of Sarasota, FL. Per Charlene’s wishes, no service or visitation is to be scheduled and her remains are to be cremated. We invite family and friends to leave condolences or memories at www.starmortuary.com
