Lloyd David Pellegrino

Lloyd “David” Pellegrino Jr, age 83, of Mesquite, NV passed away on October 30, 2025. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 14, 1942, to Lloyd David Pellegrino and Anna Lou Rogers Pellegrino. He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969. David married Donna Lynn Kochis on December 14, 1987, at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, NV. They lived numerous places including Hawaii, Kwajalein and Georgia finally coming to Mesquite in 2015.

David worked as an Air Traffic Controller and said he only worked for one man referring to the President of the United States. He was a man of faith growing up Baptist and worshiping at the Valley Presbyterian Church in Mesquite the last few years. He enjoyed sailing, diving and playing golf. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a pilot in his younger days, enjoying flying family to various family functions.

He is survived by his wife Donna Pellegrino; a daughter Lisa (Wes) Deal; a son Joel (Sherry) Pellegrino; a brother Patrick Thompson; two sisters Linda Armstrong, Denise (Darrel) Paioni; five grandchildren Autumn, Moranna, Wilson, Samantha, Taylor; three great grandchildren Drew, Joseph and Sadie.
