Louise Stowe, 95, passed away Saturday July 18, 2026 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born May 18, 1931, in Salt Lake City UT to Frank and Rita Bosley Dillingham. Louise married Charles Kuehn in 1949 in Salt Lake City, later divorced. She married Floyd “Lee” Stowe Sr. in 1982 in Salt Lake City.

Louise was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from South High School. She worked at Hill Air Force Base followed by the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center for 25 years. She was an active member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in West Valley City, UT. She loved to travel, read, and spend time with her family. She enjoyed all sports and was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, the Utah Jazz, and the University of Utah. She was a member and a High Priestess of Iris Court #47 of the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine of North America, Order of the Eastern Star, Adah Chapter. She was a member of the National Active and Retired Employees. She was a volunteer at Foster Care Citizens Review Board and Shriners Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. She was also an avid lover of all animals.

Five children survive her: Craig (Suzie) Kuehn, Placerville, CA, Alan (Billie) Kuehn, West Jordan UT, Larry (Kerri) Kuehn, West Jordan, UT, Sherri (Kendall) Workman, Mesquite, Neveda, Kenny Stowe Salt Lake City, UT. Grandchildren 9, Great Grandchildren 18, Great-Great-Grandchildren 10.

Proceeded in death by her husband, Floyd “Lee” Stowe, parents, brothers: Russell, Donald, and Lloyd and son Jeffery Kuehn, one grandson Stephen Kuehn.

 Mesquite Friends a small celebration of life will be held at the Workman home on Saturday August 1st at 11:00-1:00. We invite all caretakers and those who knew mom to join us.

A Salt Lake area Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday August 15 th at 11:00 am at Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the memorial at Memorial Estates Cemetery.
