Louise Wengert

April 9, 1924 — April 5, 2016

Louise (Fuzzy) Gaston Wengert passed away peacefully on April 5, 2016. She was 4 days short of her 92nd birthday. Born in the town of Fairhope (one of the town founders was her Grandfather), on Mobile Bay, Alabama, she married Al Wengert in 1947. They relocated to Boulder City, Nevada 7 years later, where Al started an air conditioning and electrical business.

An avid horsewoman, she was a member of the Clark County Sheriff's Auxiliary (the Lariats), and enjoyed golfing. After they retired in 1970, they spent a lot of time in Prescott, AZ., and traveled extensively in their motorhome. She is survived by four children (of which one son passed away July 26, 2014), 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Jean and brother Jim. She will be sorely missed by those she left behind.

There will be a small celebration of her life on April 30, at 4pm at the Boulder Dam Hotel. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
