Marguerite Riddle

August 14, 1930 — October 10, 2016

Marguerite Riddle, age 86, of Henderson, NV passed on October 10, 2016 surrounded by her family.  She was born on August 14, 1930 in Cedar City, UT to Arville Walker and Grace Lewis. She married Dale J Riddle on June 11, 1951 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

Marguerite taught school for many years. She began her teaching career in Yerington, NV followed by Searchlight, NV and then finished her last years teaching at Gordon McCaw Elementary School in Henderson, NV."

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and dedicated her life to serving the Lord in various church callings and also by serving two temple missions with her husband.

Throughout her life, Marguerite took in and helped anyone in need. She loved everyone and had a way of making them each feel special. She practiced this within her own family as well and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren!

She enjoyed playing and teaching others to play the piano, singing, crocheting, sewing, scrapbooking, writing, genealogy, panning for gold, and bird watching.

She is survived by four children, Robert Riddle, Karen (Robin) Smith, Carol (Doug) Broadbent, Cheryl (Thomas) Clark; a son in law Scott Lewis; a sister Dorlene (Rick Klaus) Werber; 42 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Dale Riddle, son John Riddle, and daughter Toni Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14th, 2016 from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Water Street LDS Chapel 400 S Water Street and again on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 11 to 11:45 am.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 15th at 12:00 pm at the Church with burial following at Palm Mortuary (Henderson).  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
