Ogden, UT Mary Lou Gunn 88 years old passed away Monday, February 2 in Mesquite NV. She was born May 23, 1937 in Goshen UT to Melissa Steele Lewis and Robert Arthur Lewis. She married Rodney Allen Gunn on June 12, 1982 in Ogden, UT.
Mary Lou was a member of the LDS Church and was raised in Goshen, UT and graduated high school in Payson, UT May 27, 1955. The same day her only sister was born. She always said she was her best graduation gift. Mary Lou retired after 22 years from the Utah State Liquor Store. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved to sing all the time and dance whenever there was an opportunity. Or she would create an opportunity if there wasn't one. She was an excellent baker and her cinnamon and dinner rolls were well known and always requested at all family gatherings. She enjoyed traveling with her husband when he was alive and loved to cruise. She collected stuffed animals and called them her other children. She wasn't a picky eater and always enjoyed going out to eat with her sister. Strawberry shakes were her favorite. She loved joking and pulling pranks on people. Water fights brought her joy.
She is survived by her sister, Ella Rae Mansour and her husband H. Sami Mansour and their children, Halla, Sami and Ramsey. Her son Greg Stevens and his wife Kelly Stevens and their children Danielle and Josh. Her daughter in law Beverly Stevens and her children Lacey and Shane. Raymond Stevens daughter Angie. Her son Blake Stevens and his children Melissa, Sam, Sarah, and Eric. Along with many wonderful great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her mother Melissa Steele Horrocks, her stepfather Harlan David Horrocks, her husband Rodney Allen Gunn and her oldest son Raymond Stevens.
The viewing will be from 1:00-1:45pm February 17 at Crandall Funeral Home 800 Uinta St, Evanston, WY 82930.
Graveside services immediately to follow at 2:00pm at the Evanston Cemetery 526 County Rd, Evanston, WY 82930.
