Michael Wayne Schmart, age 68, of Fort Mohave, Arizona passed away on May, 31, 2025 in Evanston, Wyoming. Michael was born on December 9, 1956 in Lincoln, Nebraska to William and Jeanne Schmart. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Christine Meyer on May 11, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Michael was a devoted loving husband.

He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch ESPN. The Chicago Cubs and the Las Vegas Raiders were his favorite teams to watch. He played football at North Dakota State and graduated with his Bachelors in Business Administration. He enjoyed working out, riding motorcycles and loved to eat peanuts. Dogs were another passion of his leaving behind four dogs that he loved; Angel-Belgian Malinios, Thunder-Mastiff mix Rottweiler, Dino-Rottweiler, and Pebbles-Rottweiler. Michael worked as a truck driver since a young age and had logged millions of miles behind the wheel. He loved listening to music.  His favorite bands were Kid Rock, Earth, Wind and Fire and Billy Ocean. At home he loved to watch old classic tv shows like Mr. Ed and Green Acres.

Michael is survived by his wife Christine Schmart; two step children Alexiz Barroga and Joshua Barroga; mother-in-law, Karen Hughes, father-in-law, Richard Hughes and brother-in-law, Matthew Meyer and his wife, Megan. Many others will deeply miss his wonderful sense of humor and his witty comments. He always knew how to make people laugh.
