Born in New York City on October 2, 1941, and passed away in Henderson, NV On August 7, 2026, at 84.

Nick was a rebellious student at St. Dominick's High School in Oyster Bay, NY who followed his love of literature to graduate from Hunter College in the Bronx, NY. He married his college sweetheart Carole and they taught together as English teachers at Niles 'r High School in the East Bronx for three years before moving to Long Island, NY to start a family. He taught English at Gelinas Ir High School for 31 years and "Mr. Mag" as his students called him was a beloved teacher with many awards and dedications. His students loved his many stories Of his past and family members and generations of his students begged to hear them repeated. To his students he was a real cool guy when he would come to school on his motorcycles and fast cars. After retiring from teaching in New York, he came to Nevada to teach for another two years at Durango High School in Las Vegas. 

He is survived by his wife Carole Manganaris, his namesake son Nicholas Manganaris and his daughter Nancy Falcone of Nevada, his grandson Alex Falcone, his granddaughter Sophia Falcone of Las Vegas, his sister Alexis Gerecke and his brother Alex Manganaris of Va.
