Nila Mae Katsaros

Nila M Katsaros passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was born October 20, 1934 in Arpin Wisconsin to Marvin and Carolyn Hanson.

She was raised in Wisconsin and in 1963 she moved to California with her husband and 4 children. She worked for Norton AFB in payroll and was chosen as Employee of the year in 1992. She retired and moved to Mesquite NV in 1993. She is a member of Mesquite Lutheran and loves Bingo and playing video poker.

She is survived by 4 children, Larry Taylor (wife Barbara), Rhonda Giza (husband Charles), Nancy Tabbert, and Tom Taylor (wife Martha). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands (Wayne Taylor & Eugene Katsaros), and her sister Lorraine Rucks.

Funeral Services will held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Mesquite Lutheran Church, located at 450 Turtleback Rd in Mesquite, at 11:00 am. There will be a small reception at the church after the service and then proceed to the grave site for final resting.
