Pauline Claire Fischer

Pauline Claire Fischer, age 89, of Mesquite, NV passed away at home on March 11, 2024.  She was born in Lamar, CO on August 28, 1934 to Paul Claire Rhudy and Hazel Atwood Rhudy.  She married Bruce Albert Fischer on December 11, 1955 in Wiley, CO.  They raised their family in Colorado and then moved to Missouri and moved to Mesquite full time seven years ago.

Pauline was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading.  She spent a lot of time in the kitchen where she was an excellent cook and baker and also enjoyed canning.  She had a strong faith and attended church at the River Valley Bible Church in Mesquite.   Spending time with her family especially her grandchildren was what she loved most.

Pauline is survived by her husband Bruce Fischer; three children Mark Fischer, Carolyn (Kevin) Brown, Tim (Tonya) Fischer; brother Donald (Marge) Rhudy;  eight grandchildren Matt (Kelsey) Fischer, Zach (Chelsey) Fischer, Mackenzie (Justin) Jacob, Caleb Burgess, Ethan (Callie) Burgess, Hannah (Nathan) Craig, Eddie and Jazmine Zuniga, Jessi Brown; ten great grandchildren Wyatt Burgess, Hunter Fischer, Hudson Fischer, Henley Fischer, Evelyn Fischer, Rhett Fischer, Peyton Craig, Caiden Craig, Bayleigh Craig, Matteo Zuniga.  She is preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law Patty (Ronald) McKitrick.

Service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 1:30 pm at River Valley Bible Church.  In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to River Valley Bible Church 322 E Hafen Lane Mesquite, NV 89027 in memory of Pauline Fischer.  Family and friends are invited to leave condolences and memories at www.starmortuary.com
