Peggy May Smith Krever

Peggy May Smith Krever, 81, of Mesquite, NV Died in her home on September 18, 2026. Peggy was born February 20, 1945 in Brownfield, Texas to parents Horace and Deola Smith.

Peggy spent her childhood in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by brothers Horace Jr. and Jimmy. She attended area schools including Western High School from 1961-1964.

Motherhood was her calling and the joy of her life. She Loved her daughters Belinda, Shawn, Andrea and Michelle with all her heart. She enjoyed sewing and creating clothing for the girls. She also enjoyed gardening and caring for her yard.

Peggy will be deeply missed by those who survive her including her daughters Belinda (Albert) Naudin, Shawn Carlgren, Andrea Carlgren and Michelle Carlgren, Her brother Jimmy (Cheri) Smith of Mesquite, NV and 11 Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both her parents Horace Smith and Deola Briscoe Smith, her Brothers Horace Smith Jr., and Grady Smith.

A Graveside service will be held to celebrate her life and legacy on Friday October 2, 2026 at 11:30 am at Mesquite City Cemetery located at 301 Hillside Drive, Mesquite, NV 89027.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Star Mortuary.
