Boulder City, Nevada - Phyllis Allene Holsey, 92, passed away May 9, 2026. She was born December 14, 1933 in Wichita, Kansas to Lucille “Mrs. Mayo” Winegar and Merle Carnes. She married James Vernon Holsey January 13, 1956 in Downey, California.
She lived a life filled with friendship, laughter, creativity, and adventure. A proud longtime resident of Boulder City, she found joy in painting, arts and crafts, and expressing her creativity in everything she did. She loved to travel and explored the world with family and friends, collecting spoons and stories everywhere she went. As a proud member of the Red Hat Society, she embraced every opportunity to dress up and have fun. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son Randy Holsey and wife Kristine Holsey of Boulder City, Nevada; daughter-in-law Debra Holsey in Littleton, Colorado; grandchildren Jeff Holsey, Daniel Holsey, Keith Holsey, Brian Holsey, and Kyle Holsey; great grandchildren Delilah Holsey and Wyatt Holsey. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Daniel Holsey and loving husband James.
The funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 10am at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, California. Interment will be at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
