Ramon Horacio Villegas

Ramon Horacio Villegas, age 92, of Mesquite, NV passed away June 1, 2024, just five days after the passing of his wife Tina Villegas.  He was born on April 6, 1932 in Las Vegas, NM to Christian Villegas and Ricarda Gonzales Villegas.  He married Ernestina Maria Baca on November 30, 1957 in Las Vegas, NM.  They moved to Mesquite, NV twelve years ago.

Ramon was an excellent cook and loved to cook he worked as a cook at the in the Hospital prior to retirement.   Ramon also enjoyed building and collecting planes and building jewelry.  Watching western movies and keeping a beautiful yard was other passions of his. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Ramon was survived two sons Christopher (Lorena) Villegas, Gerard (Donna) Villegas; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a great, great, grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial mass was held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at La Virgen de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mesquite, NV.  Family and friends are invited to share memories at www.starmortuary.com
